Youth Officer Role Profile


Role title: Youth Officer
Responsible for: Developing and implementing an integrated strategy for the recruitment,
retention and activism of young people within Transform and working with the campaigns and
communications teams to communicate Transform’s message to young people across the UK.
Time commitment: Approximately 4 hours per week, but could be varied.


Your responsibilities would be as follows:
● Develop a strategic approach to the Party’s relationship with young party members and voters.
● Plan and implement activities and initiatives to encourage the participation of young party members.
● Support and develop appropriate campaigning strategies and campaigns for young party members and voters.
● Develop and implement membership recruitment and retention strategies specifically aimed at young people and young party members.
● Run training, policy and engagement events across the country as part of a young
member’s recruitment and retention strategy.
● Assist in the production of relevant resources and campaigns on youth issues.
● Participate in the development of political and training programmes aimed specifically at young party members.
● Provide support and guidance to all Youth Officers in regional and local branches.
